Returns & refunds
Because each item is handwritten by an independent sofer, return windows and conditions can vary by vendor -- check the individual product page for any vendor-specific terms. As a baseline: you can request a return within 14 days of delivery for items that arrive damaged, materially not as described, or defective. Contact the vendor directly from your order page first; if you can't reach a resolution, reach out to [support email] and we'll step in.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Order cancellations
Because most items are handwritten to order, cancellations can only be made before a vendor has begun fulfillment. Contact the vendor as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Shipping
Shipping method and cost are set per vendor and shown at checkout. Once a vendor marks an item shipped, you'll see its tracking number (if provided) on your order page.
Halachic & certification questions
Script type, materials, and any certifications are disclosed on each product's "Halachic details" section. If religious accuracy matters for your intended use, we recommend confirming details directly with the vendor or your own rabbinic authority before relying on an item for ritual use.
